Celebration helped familiarize me with great rugs and their creators at a time when I was first learning about hooked rugs. I was living in St. Louis, Missouri, teaching myself the technical aspects of hooked rug construction, and trying to develop my own creative style. I ran across Celebrations III. I loved it so much that I subsequently sought out back copies of numbers I and II.
